Call a vet immediately if you see any of these.
- Difficulty breathing, or gums that are pale, blue or brick red
- Repeated unproductive retching with a swollen, hard abdomen (possible bloat)
- Collapse, seizures or sudden weakness
- Straining to urinate, particularly in male cats
- Uncontrolled bleeding, or a wound that gapes
- Suspected poisoning
- Heatstroke signs
- Not eating for 24 hours in a dog, or 12 hours in a cat
- A hard, distended belly

Your vet's number, the out-of-hours number, your pet's microchip number and any medications they are on. Put them in your phone today, not on the night you need them.
