About
I’m Kate, the founder of Chase Canines and a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist based in Staffordshire. Before launching my own business in 2022, I worked for both the RSPCA and Dogs Trust, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, backgrounds and behavioural needs. I specialise in reactivity, aggression and more complex behaviour, while also helping puppies and adult dogs develop strong foundations for everyday life. My approach is ethical, force-free and centred around understanding why a dog behaves the way they do, rather than simply trying to stop the behaviour. Every dog and family is different, so my training is always realistic, supportive and individually tailored. Through Chase Canines, I offer one-to-one training and behaviour support, puppy and adult group classes, scentwork, social sessions and training walks across Cannock, Rugeley and Brewood. I also co-run Waggy Wedding Events, helping couples safely include their dogs in their special day. I’m passionate about making dog training welcoming, inclusive and free from judgement. My goal is to ensure owners feel listened to and supported while giving them practical tools that genuinely work. Most importantly, I want every dog to feel understood, safe and set up to succeed within their real lives.
