About
Hi, I’m Erica – a passionate dog lover with over 20 plus years of experience, training and working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. My journey began at a weekly dog club, where I trained my own dogs through the Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme. Under the guidance of three incredibly experienced trainers, I gained invaluable knowledge and insight, which I now use to help run the very same club today. Training with a wide variety of breeds – from Great Danes to Chihuahuas – has taught me so much simply through observation and hands-on practice. A few years ago, I began dog walking professionally after being approached by a friend. This real-world experience has been both challenging and rewarding, offering me a deeper understanding of dog behavior and what truly works in day-to-day situations. I quickly noticed how many dogs were struggling with reactivity, fear, nervousness, or anxiety—and I felt driven to do more. That’s when I was invited to start puppy classes at a local doggie daycare centre. It was love at first sight—not just with the puppies, but with the progress I saw in both the dogs and their owners.
